This photo was taken at the Red River Zoo in Fargo, ND. Every time I go on a road trip, I try to stop at as many of the zoos I can. I love zoos. This was one of our last stops on a road trip before making our way back to the twin cities. There isn't a whole lot of a story to this one, but this is one of the first animals we saw at the zoo. They weren't actually in an exhibit. The zoo just had peacocks that roamed around as they pleased. This is a mommy and a baby peacock (with daddy nearby). It was pretty adorable to watch the baby because any time the mom would turn her head to the left, baby would turn its head to the left. Mom would turn her head up and to the right, baby would turn its head up and to the right. In perfect unison. Just an interesting thing that I think about anytime I look at these pictures. — at The Red River Zoo.
